shipping bracket

looking for shipping bracket for factory 6 disc unit. I purchased unit from member but need bracket to allow safe shipment.

just a FYI..if you can't get the bracket for shipment have the CD player be loaded with 6 blank CD's and it's good for shipping.

You may be off track with that bit of info.



According to others on this site the CD's will not prevent the transport/changing mechanism from falling off the mounts when turned up-side-down. When shipping, you need the bracket (I guess that's why there is such a thing as a shipping bracket!).

Putting in Cd's is better than shipping it empty. It does seem to increase the odds of it being OK when it arrives compared to no CD's. But... it is not a sure thing. I would say if it is shipped with no bracket or CD's it is like 25% of a chance it will be OK when you get it. With the CD's it raises it about 10 to 15 points...



Todd and I both have the bracket. We loan it out for $15.00 up front and return $10.00 when you return the bracket. If you need it, contact either of us..
