Are the 07-10 Explorer shock assemblies the same as the 07-10 Sport Trac? I have been considering replacing mine but can only find the front assemblies when I go to search for parts for the ST, but get all four when I change it to say Explorer.

Thanks,

Keith

Appears all the struts shown are the same part numbers for the Gen 4 (2006-10) Explorer. If in doubt, contact Rancho direct. GL

Awesome, thanks again Steve. In your opinion, what would be better:

Rancho Quick Lift install or Truxxx 3" Lift/Level with Rancho RS5000?

Currently I am planning on doing the 3" Truxxx kit with RS5000's due to how much ground clearance is gained. Reason why I was looking into the Quick Lift is because of the adjustable shock, but then I don't gain as much ground clearance. Opinions from knowledgeable people are always welcome :D I like to hear from experience and get the chance to expand my knowledge base.

Sorry Keith, not familar with the 2007-10 IFS/IRS. I actually prefer lowered street trucks.

Found these threads with pics searching "Truxx lift". There's more info out there. GL

I knew about the strain that the lift would cause but I did not know about the BTF UCA replacements. It is always good to ask questions :D

And I can respect lowered trucks. Saw an awesome Dodge Ram 2500 single cab short bed that was lowered, was gloss white with chrome. It was a very clean truck. I prefer lifted trucks, not the ones that got carried away though lol, for what I drive in as well as my height. I have always disliked having to grab onto the roof to lower myself into a vehicle :p
