shocks anyone?

What shocks does everyone suggest I go with? I'm all stock still on the suspension and I think it's time to replace the shocks

Any shock is better than what Ford puts on them at the factory!

Iam very pleased with my rancho rsx. You can get a 4 for 3 deal on monroe reflex this month which is the same shock...



Be warned, most members that have bought pro-comp, did not get all the hardware. they had to reuse or go buy some of it....

I got the Monroe Reflexes on mine about 2 months ago and I love them. I got them on a buy 3, get the 4th one free deal. Anything is better than stock!!! I paid 41.99 per shock.

Werd. I got so frustrated, on top of that one shock was obviously defective out-of-the-box, I sent all four back for a refund and went to Sears.

KYB Mono Max's here. You'll lose a lot of 'cush' for stiffness and a lot more 'trucklike' ride... But I like the improved handling driving!

I just put Rancho rs5000 on mine two days ago. Love them!! definately made an improvement over stock, but not TOO stiff... I paid $135 (from 4 wheel parts )after a $25 mail in rebate ... that's $33.75 per shock .... yessss.... (i think the rebate is over though)

I have Rancho RS9000X's and am pleased. There has been positive feedback on Monroes Reflex, Ranch RSX's, RS500's, KYB, and other top brands. I think it boils sown to that the OEM shocks are so bad that ANY top brand shock is a great improvement.
