Anyone ever have these on their outside mirrors??

Was gonna try them on our '08 Sport Trac. Trying to keep moisture, snow, ice down so my wife won't have to clean the mirrors off.

They may be a gimmick, don't know.

Opinions?

pics?? never heard of them. I have seen people use plastic bags lol..

They are on amazon. I'm waiting for them to come to see "if" there is enough clearance for them to work.

I plan on getting pics to show. We shall see............................................

These were $23.99. They are pretty flexible. They came with double back tape, HOWEVER, IMO, it made them too thick, so I got some 40/40 epoxy from the shop, and put it on the visors, and taped, and clamped them on.

(Where the double back tape was it had a "step" in the design, so that is where I put the epoxy. Hopefully, it stays. AND, by removing the tape, it allowed clearance for the mirror to operate.)

You can go to Amazon, and type in exterior car mirror visors, and they are on there.

I don't know, they may just be a gimmick, but I've spent more and had less !!!!!!!!!!

Todd, us poor folks couldn't afford heated mirrors !!!!!!! LOL

UPDATE: After having them for a while, will say they are about 20% effective.

Oh well, I've wasted more money that this, before !!!

That sucks,,,, Well 20 is better then 0...…
