As I said in my earlier post, I have the tilt steering wheel / light connector problem. I went to the FORD place today to get the connector to correct the problem. They had a connector with 6" pigtails already installed. It was made by PERFORMANCE SPECIALIST part # 77247. It is a universal connector and to fit a 2003 Sport Trac you have to remove one wiring connector and that part of the plastic connector to make it fit. I just used my grinder and slowly ground it off. I cut off the old connector and used butt splices to reconnect the new connector. There are 11 wires on the new connector and only 7 are used.. ( one was ground off and three more were not used ). It took only about an hour to do the entire repair. CAUTION:: WHEN YOU CUT THE WIRES THE PIECES LEFT ON THE CONNECTOR WILL FALL OUT OF THE CONNECTOR. MAKE SURE YOU HOLD THEM IN. THE NEW CONNECTOR IS NOT COLOR COORDINATED, ALL THE WIRES ARE WHITE. YOU WILL NEED TO LOOK AT THE OLD CONNECTOR TO MATCH UP THE WIRING.

Good to hear and thanks for giving us an update.
