I was at an Auto parts store today and wanted to get some silver star lights. How do they sell those... Do they sell high and low beam lights in one package, or do you have to spend money on the high beam lights and then turn around and buy the low beam lights after that... Any help would be great... I would like to know how you guys that have them like them... are they worth the money?

Our headlights have a single bulb that contain the high and low element in the single bulb. (Three tabs on the back of the bulb).

The fog lights are single elements. So they will be a single bulb as well but only a single beam will be produced from them. (Two tabs on the back of the bulb).

What kind of lights depends on the vehicle. ST's use a #9007 bulb that has the low and high beam in one unit. Bulbs do get dimmer over time. I swapped in the Silverstars that I had in my Ranger but I didn't think they were any brighter than the stockers, probably because the truck was new. You can swap in #9005 high beam bulbs into the fogs, in my Ranger I used 9005 all-weather high beams from J.C. Whitney that cast a somewhat yellow light and I liked them real well.

As JohnnyO said, the 9007s will have high and low filaments, I've had Silverstars installed for over 2 years now and I am very happy with them, not excessively expensive and brighter than stock.

Sylvania has the 9145 direct replacement available in SilverStars for the fog lights. I have 'em in my Sport Trac, along with the 9007 headlights and 3157NA turnsignal SilverStars.

JohnnyO, in Europe you'll see vehicles with yellow headlights, for all the fog that they have over there. I'm surprised they don't sell them in areas that receive a lot of fog
