single disc to 6 disc questions

i just picked up an 03' trac that was manufactured in july of 02.. anyway it is an xlt with the premium group i think, 4:10 LS rear axle etc..



anyway, the truck has the single disc player in it right now but i have the chance to pick up a 6 disc indash out of an 02'



will this unit work in my 03'? will i need to enter any security codes etc?



along with this he has a bed extender for sale (mine is missing)



what is a good price for each?

any ST radio from 2003 to 2001 will work, 04 and up will not....



The bed extender $100.00 or so, with mounting hard wear add $20.00.... If not you can get the pins from our sponsors..



The radio seems to go for $100-$150 or so...

You will need a special shipping bracket for the 6 disk so it does not get damaged..

Todd, isn't the 6 disc radio only for the Audiophile system? Will he have the necessary connectors in the dash?

Why not just put your CD's on your MP3 / iPod?

Tracket, only if it is in the adrenalin radio it will not work, He can get a regular 6 disk radio....
