Yea, I think the jacks are the same. I just put one on the Sport Trac a few weeks ago. If I did it again, I would go ahead and put in the FM adapter to do away with the FM inside antenna that has static. You plug it into your radio, plug your radio and your Satilite antenna into it, and sit back and listen to static free satelite.

Actually some older ones had 2 wires, one for the satellite and one for the terrestrial repeater. New ones have 1 wire. Depending on what kind of unit you have you may need an adapter. I needed to purchase a 2-1 adapter so I could use a newer smaller antenna with my older setup.

Thanks guys.

I have the Sportster replay now and I am thinking about getting the Sportster 5 with the new color screen. I don't want to have to re-run the antenna and since mine is already the newer 1 wire type it looks like I am fine.

Gary,

I'll take Howard over Opie and Anthony any day. :p
