Hi all,

I'll be getting Sirius Satellite radio for my birthday, most liely the "sportster 4" model. I was hoping you all could tell me where/how you installed similar models in your ST's, and link to pics if possible.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

Eric

Here is how I mounted mine, if you have the high console.

Nelson, if you don't mind I will do a project on how I did my installation. I don't want to take away from yours though but maybe it will help others.

Octane 4tw!!! :)

Each has their good points and bad points for what they offer...it's all in what you see as the better package for you. My personal choice is Sirius :)

I'm using my center console as well. Still tweaking my idea for my power switches though. I'm placing my power switches in a box withing the center console storage box. I'm then drilling a hole through the storage box to run the wires from the auxiliary power outlets I'm wiring in. I'm then going to place my Sirius receiver in the front console area, such as the other member did. My only debate at this point is whether I want to drill a hole under the rubber mat and run the wires through, or just run them between the foam and dash. I'm also thinking about placing my cell phone charger under the console as well, and just drilling a hole for the plug end to be visible.
