For those who might need to update their SiriusXM subscription account information my best advice is to call their 844 number, dial 0, give them a call-back number and then when and if they do call you back hope like heck you can understand the person with the Chinese accent because none of the other methods they provide worked for me. All I needed to do was update my cc number.
My first attempt was to log in to my account on their website. Since I don't recall ever having done that before I tried to register. Only problem with that is you need to know either your account number, the radio ID number or your VIN number. The only one of those that I have is the VIN number because the renewal notice I received through the mail only contains the last four digits of the other two. The website didn't recognize my VIN.
Since that didn't work, I tried calling them and working through the voice recognition method. So far so good. But, when I keyed in my cc number over the phone it wouldn't recognize that either. My only recourse at that point was to hang up, call the number again, dial 0 and then request a call back unless I wanted to wait on hold for 22.3 minutes to talk to an actual human being.
Needless to say I gave the poor young lady with the Chinese accent a piece of my mind along with the cc number.
Good grief.
