Size of Subwoofer?

What size is the woofer thats behind the seat of a GEN 1 Trac? Not the ones under the seat...

Underseat was 10"

I think the behind the seat stocker was 6.5" but some people modded the box to fit an 8" (I could be wrong on that though..)

Well I only ask as I am thinking of putting a shallow mount kicker woofer in the factory box in place of the factory woofer. I can get one real cheap so that why I am going with that instead of a new system. :grin:

the one behind the seat is 6.5 inches, the grille in front of it is 8 inches...

i always thought it was 8 too until i popped the grille off. It felt like i took a push up bra off and thats what i saw... almost a cheated feeling ....

There was an adrenalin packaged gen 1.. but I thought it was 10 under the seat not an 8.

The 8" speaker was in a different enclosure, in the same location as the 6.5". C. Wells made a 10" under seat enclosure which prevented the passenger side from folding down. Any under seat enclosures prevent a seat from folding down.
