Slight 3-9 Wheel Wiggle 2002 Sport Trac

On a recent tire rotation, I noticed a slight 3-9 wheel wiggle on the right front. Since I couldn't see anything moving, I made the assumption that the wheel bearing/hub was going bad. Replace the hub with a new Motorcraft. Still have that slight wiggle - Can't see anything moving. What am I missing??

you need a second person, one Makes the wiggle and second holds tie rods, rack and ball joints...

My wife moved the wheel and I was able to determine that it was the inner tie rod. Original, lasted 20 years and 195K!

Glad you found it, as long as its not the rack, Might wanna do both sides since it will need an alignment anyway now.
