snowblower help

today my snowblower isn't forcefully shooting the snow from the chute like normal. its a craftsman 2 stage blower. the snow is light but still seems to fall out of the base of the chute for a few seconds then blasts it out like it just got unclogged, then a small amount of snow will clog it up again. any suggestions while I research the internet? something wrong with the second stage impeller?

There is wet snow and there is dry snow. Dry snow good, wet snow bad. :angry:

Both stages working? Impellers tightly connected to the shaft? Belts tight?

took it to my friends shop...the auger belt was stretched, very loose. Cost $56 for parts and labor but I sure as hell wasn't going to start ripping things apart in my 2 degree garage. At least its fixed before this weekend's snow comes. Throws snow like crazy now!
