Not sure how familiar folks here are with consumerist.com (if at all). It's a pretty good website about how to defend yourself against being taken advantage of (in the simplest form). It has some interesting reading. Here's a link to a guy having issues with ford and his '05 F-150. Sucks for this guy but maybe there are some lessons to be learned about how to deal with dealer service dept. and how ford works. Naturally, take with a grain of salt as it's just one guys side of the story, but I'm sure some of us can relate.
