Loaded the snowblower into my '08 for the first time today. Found out that the ridges in the bed are precisely the correct width for the tires on the snowblower.

About 6". But I live on a corner so that means I have twice as much sidewalk to take care of, plus my office, plus my parents' house (just left for FL for the winter), plus my aunt and uncle (they're old).

They might have been thinking on the ridge width but they were not thinking when they made the composite bed material white which shows stracthes very easily. I don't understand why the they could not have added black dye to the composite material so it wouldn't show scratches so easily? Apparently the bed is only painted black but it's white underneath the paint and shows every little scratch.

How do you get the snowblower up into the truck bed, and off when needed?

I'm incredibly strong.

The ramps are 2x8's with ends from a "ramp kit" I got at Lowe's. Aluminum thingys that screw onto the end and make it flush with the tailgate. Very smooth. Linky------V
