Tom...I'm not sure...but I don't think Wayne has posted anything since a member posted some info concerning some merchandise he bought from Wayne. That post was made a while ago and I haven't heard a word.

He has been extremely busy with his business. I know he and the family are fine...

I do know the UDP group buy order is filled and will be shipped soon also..

So Todd,

What's the bottom line when ordering from him, if your package gets banged up in transit, are you S.O.O.L? I'm only asking you b/c you seem to have connections.

Nelson, I'd get it. I wouldn't worry about this situation too much. I'm extremely happy with mine. Part of the issue I saw with the parts that snss got were that they weren't sold by Hypnotic Illusions. Wayne sold used parts off his own ST on the swap and sell board here. Correct me if I'm wrong, but that shouldn't fall under any kind of guarantee offered by his company. That would amost be like me sending something off, it arriving broken, and then them accusing the Air Force of screwing them. Now I'm not saying that it was right the way the items arrived, but I also wouldn't have accept them in that condition myself. That's just my take on it anyway.

It doesn't matter if you sold the items directly yourself or through your company. It still reflects on the type of person you are. If yu don't care about hurting your name, why would you care about your company.

I hope you're still sitting Tom, because I agree with you.

I've met with Wayne several times in person, and he is a great guy that seems like he'd do anythign for you; however, this unfortunate situation seems unfair to snss3, futhermore, I wouldn't let one bad package ruin the thought of anyone wanting to buy from him. This is the first time I've heard of something like this happening.

I think the issue is that there is no way to replace what what was received broken.

Any of the other things he sells (, x-cal, chips, pulleys, exhaust, ) are replaceable because he has stock on those items and can get credit back from the manufacturer, or the items are drop shipped right from the manufacturer to your door, and they are the ones that would deal with a damaged item....

I don't want to think Wayne doesn't care about the things that where broken, OR not care about a customer, OR think that he has enough business and doesn't care what others think, But I feel If I was the seller I would tell the person to send me the broken stuff back, And i would refund their money minus the return shipping costs... I think that would be another 20 bucks or so back to the customer in Canada...

Or since there is picture proof the stuff is not usable, Then just refund the difference minus the return shipping costs...

But I will continue to use Wayne for my performance stuff, and I will continue to promote him on this site....

Todd,

That’s all I asked of him as well, never once did I intend to put his reputation in question on this board.

However I did ask for a resolution to my problem that’s all.

Unfortunately the nature of busines is that sometimes a small loss is the way to assure future good profits. hence the old saying the "coustmer is always right, even when he is wrong he is still right".
