Sponge paint question

Hi, I have to sponge paint a room. Should I put the darker color on first then sponge the lighter one over it or vice versa.

Have seen it both ways, Depends on if your using a pattern sponge, random, and the colors...

I have done it both ways and it is personal preference. To me I liked the darker over the lighter. It seemed easier to do. Try on a piece of paper if you can.

Like Sone says; Don't knock it. FYI...Both ways does increase your chances for a date by 50%.
