Our 2nd gen ST's don't have the best brake systems in the world, and I thought that stainless brake lines might be a small upgrade we can all do. I have searched alot of websites but haven't found any specifically for our trucks. Maybe somebody has found one from another Ford vehicle we can use or had some custom made. Please chime in.

Rudolph- are those from summit, ones that you need to put together??? and do you have a part number for either one..

thanks for the info...

Sorry don't have part number or know if you have to assembly but call they are very helpful and andysautosport has them you just have to tell them length you want for those that have lifted bodies.

I happen to be happy with the brakes in my 2010..... I like the ones in the gen 1 better, But go with a good set of pads, ceramics, or severe duty and i bet you will be happy....

My SS lines made a difference In the pedal but NOT the actual stopping power of the truck.... That was achieved by better pads.....

I agree Todd but it just SUCKS!! that our aftermarket selection is so limited. Part of what I do to my STA is to upgrade it and part is to just spend time working on it. I hate that we don't have options. I once had a 1990 T-Bird SC and had the same problem. I guess if you don't own a Mustang your S.O.L.

Henry,

There is a bunch of stuff out there...... Rotors and pads, calipers all sorts of stuff if you look.......

You can get SS lines made up, they my not have a bracket on them or be 100% exact but they will work....

Many places make them, I know mine were 3 piece and i had to make a bracket for the fronts on my 03......

Its your call..... And performance wise there is plenty there too.... Just places DON'T list the ST but the stuff fits and works...
