Has anyone else had this occur on their trac? I only noticed it last week. I turn my truck off, lock it up, and I notice my stereo LED lights stay on...just that very faint green glow, along with the drivers side and passenger side auto lock buttons. I've played with all my lighting/dimmer switches, but it doesn't turn off. It's only in the last two weeks or so that I've noticed this/ that it has seemed to be occuring.

Help would be GREAT before I start digging in the back of my stereo/fuses....

Frustrated in Calgary...

I know the power door lock buttons will remain illuminated for 20 minutes or so. I asked

my Ford dealer about this and they said it had something do do with a safety feature.

Works through the BCM, like your map and courtesy lights, and radio timer with the

key off, so you can listen to the rest of a song, or whatever, before you open your door

and after removing your key from the ignition, before the power completely shuts off.

The radio LEDs, not sure. Never had that happen in mine while I still had the factory

stereo in it?!?!

I guess I should have mentioned that....they stay on indefinately...they don't go off. This just started in the last couple weeks or so. I had an after market alarm put in 11 months ago and everything has worked fine...but I notice that when I arm the alarm, as it is suppossed to do my lights flash once...and I watched close and noticed a flicker in the stereo backlight...I'm wondering if they somehow powered the alarm, or connected a wire to the stereo, or a wire in the back is touching something it shouldn't. I would take it back to where I had it done and ask them, unfortunately that was in Vancouver, and I now live in Calgary.

Ah well...guess I gotta start diggin around and trouble shooting...
