Stock OEM Exhaust Tip

I will be selling my stock exhaust tip. This tip looks aggressive and the stainless steel really shines pretty good and stands out. Its not a major updgrade but its better than the other exhaust tip that came with some '03 '04 and '05s.

I guess in '04, ford quit polishing the oem. Mine was rough and looked like it came straight from. The tubing extractor.

Not knowing they used to be polished. I had one member mad at me when I asked why he wanted one...LOL

i hope that member is not holding a grudge til this day hahaha. but yeah these types of tips look nice since they are polished. and i know what you mean about the other ones ooking like that. they are hideous. but i think they did change over starting in 04. i have seen one or two 03s with that ugly lookin one. so hopefully i can help someone out to get rid of their ugly one.

When I fabbed up my duals I put the factory exhaust on here for free but no one wanted it so I ended up scrapping it. I had the stainless tip too. Oh well.

i wouldnt doubt it. i was thinking about letting it go for 10 dollars. shipping would probably be 15 dollars. the shop would charge about 25 to weld it on and remove the existing one. so total of about 50 dollars. which thats how much an aftermarket tip cost. so im sure someone would rather spend those 50 dollars on an aftermarket and another 25 to weld it on.

Jerry i need some suggestions.

i like my stock tip. its aggressive looking and shines nice. but im not to fond of the bronze tint to it.

I wanna upgrade tips. probably going with gibson. the thing i cant decide to do is if i want to make it come out the back or keep it on the side. if i come out the back i will probably get a 2.5 I.D. 12'" long 3.5 O.D. tip. if its the side it will probably be a 7" long 2.5 I.D. 3.5 O.D

you know what my ST looks like. what would you recommend would look the best. I also dont think the back bumper is contour enough for the pipe to come out the back

Stainless won't rust so I'd stay with the type of tip. People waste money on chrome tips because they rust and discolor. When I get on my laptop in awhile I'll post some different exhausts in the ST section for ya and whoever else wants ideas. :banana:
