stubby 6mm hex

I am looking for a "stubby" 6mm allen key to fit into a very tight space on my pressure washer. I have contemplated cutting one down but the hardened steel will eat up many hack saw blades.



Anyone every seen them in stores? I have found a few online places but need the tool for this weekend. Thanks.

I have cut them with an angle grinder it is pretty quick you just need to quench it in water a time or two as you grind to keep it cool.

Get the thin cut off wheel for your angle grinder and it will cut any type of steel. I have cut off allen wrenches and drill bits with no problem. Make sure you have a good eye shield.

Thanks for the suggestions. I will check out Sears/Lowes in the morning and if they don't have one I will try cutting it down with a cutting wheel.
