Hey guys,

You've all been really helpful to me so I have another question for you all. I am looking to get 3 subwoofers. One 10" and two 8". I also need an amp obviously.

Here is some stuff about the amp...

Lanzar VIBE436 4 Channel 2000 Watts High Power MOSFET Amplifier

4 x 250W RMS at 4 OHMS 4 x 500W MAX at 4 OHMS

2 x 1000W MAX at 4 OHMS Bridged 4 x 450W at 2 OHMS RMS

Here is some stuff on the 10'' sub.

Kicker Solo-Baric L7 06S10L7-4 10" Dual 4-ohm Voice Coil Component Subwoofer

Power: 1200/600 (Peak/RMS)

And the 8" subs.

Kicker Solo-Baric L7 06S8L7-4 8" Dual 4-ohm Voice Coil Component Subwoofer

Power: 900/450 (Peak/RMS)

DOES ANYONE KNOW WHETHER THIS AMP IS GOOD TO POWER THOSE 3 SUBS?!

I want to order my stuff online so please let me know. If this amp isn't suitable for the amps can someone please post an amp that can power the 3 subs? I'm looking for the best quality too!

Thanks a lot guys, hope to hear back from many people cause I dont know what I'm doing

Anthony

Alright, first off the bat. Why do you want 1x 10" and 2x8"s? I mean, with a 10" there, you won't hear the 8"s, plus it wouldn't make any sense.

I working on putting 4x 10"s in my ST.

Sorry, I don't know anything about the amp. So I can't help there.

Don't mix and match subs, you risk cancellation and crappy sound. On top of that your going to have a weird load difference going on with the amp since you want to run 3 subs.

If you still decide to run 3 subs, then get a single channel amp that is 2 ohm stable (most are) you will be loading it @ 2.67 (dual 4 ohm subs)

More than likely that is a class AB amp which will be less effecent than a class D (which most mono amps are) so it will take less current (from your battery) to provide the same amount of power.

I bought a dual 10" sub enclosure from JDBoxes for behind the rear seat. I already have a Pro-box sub enclosure for under the right rear passenger side seat, and I also have an Adrenalin OEM sub enclosure for under the rear left driver side seat.

Each can hold a 10" sub with less than 5" of mounting depth. So yeah. I'm just waiting for stuff to get here.
