The 6 disc pioneer fits in the glove box, but I opted for the 12 disc. I mounted it in the center console. Unfortunately, it takes up the whole thing and was a real pain in the ass to install. Its great to have all that music available though. With 13 mp3 cd's and sirius radio, I could listen for a year and never hear the same thing twice.
I have seen several mounted within the center console. In fact, Ford says that is where they mount theres from the factory when you have the "Proper" system. I say it like that because I have NEVER seen one... LOL.
