I don't really know how to explain it, but I figured I would ask to see if any one else has experienced this problem and what the solution may be. When I am going down the road at cruise speed, my trac seems to hit a bump....almost like it is hesitating. I noticed this only after I installed my new K&N Intake. The rpms seem to drop about 1000 or so for a few short burst and then its fine. :unsure:





If anyone has a clue....please let me know...thanks!

Is your intake the type where you oil the filter??



If so, you may have gotten some oil to the Mass Air Flow Sensor. Clean it and see what happens...



Also, make sure the connections are very good with the cowling of the air duct.

yes....the K&N comes pre-oiled......if thats the case what do I clean...the little nub hanging down in the M.A.S. I will also check the fittings to see if they need tightning. I will probably do all this tomorrow....will let you know how it turns out...thanks!!
