I use Photobucket. It works well enough. I haven't tried others to compare so I can only say it's adequate for what I need it for which is posting images to forums. It's free. I don't post anything personal and they don't have any of my info (may have even used fake info, can't remember) so I guess it's safe.
I've had family members speak highly of Snapfish for creating albums and such.
