Thanks all for the math help (see prior post). The correct answer was 3.08 for P. We were able to solve the problem based on MikeC's original reply. And yes Bill V, you are correct since I stated the problem incorrectly. P on both sides were the same value, but I incorrectly stated it a p. Onward to the next 8th grade Honor's math question...

Uh...8th grade honors math?



That was a 7th grade honors math program, and a simple one at that, based on my review of Algebra homework with my current 8th grade son over the summer.



Please tell me you posted it to test intelligence here, and not because you couldn't do it, because if the latter is the fact, time to spend less time on-line and more time in the book.
