I have one of those little single-stage snowblowers with a rubber auger. I'm normally vigilant with safety, but I had a brain fart after the chute became clogged. Yep. I stuck my hand in it. Good thing I was wearing thick, padded leather gloves. Nothing broken. No compartment syndrome. Hurts like hell.

Thankfully it's not too bad, could be ALOT worse. Glad you're alright. Hopefully it heals swiftly and there's no nerve damage. If there is you don't have to pretend its a stranger anymore:grin: just kidding, hopefully it heals up fast.

Wow, that must have been scary. Glad you still have all your fingers. The swelling will go down in a few days, but you may need to have it Xray'd to be sure it's not broken, and that there is no tendon or joint damage.

I went to the ER about 90 minutes after it happened. No fractures. Doc gave me some Percocet.

Wow, that could have been much worse. Glad it's alright. The pain is just the lesson. I've had many. Most things like this you'll only do once. Most.



The thing I have the most duh moments on is working with gloves on then grabbing a drill and not removing the gloves.
