Ok so before the Block Tester Showed up. I started this project.

Yeah I'm an idiot. So learn from these pictures. Those bent to heck mounting brackets are from thinking its OK to keep them on when you go off road.

I did that in 2011, today those brackets cost $106.00 each and up.

Yup $600.00 if you can find 6.

Up here in Washington State Junk yards are scarce as Gold Nuggets, so dont ask...

So I've got my little sledge and some ear plugs and I'm about to take out some serious frustrations about Ford making my vehicle a deleted model.

Anybody body have an Idea what size bolts are used to mount them to the bottom of the Truck?

LENGTH X WIDTH AND PITCH?

Idiot Move #2 after I bagged them and labeled them. Over the last 10 years I lost them. FML...

Wow $600+ for a set of six step brackets; need to consider a sale!
Got a heavier version of those brackets in my spare parts box,
cleaned to shiny metal with a fresh coat of primer, after removing them a while back.
Steps themselves rusted inside out & never liked them getting pants dirty as I got out of the truck.
Better ground clearance without them too.
Sorry don't recall the bolt size; those got thown into my spare bolt bucket.

i took my steps off as well and i still have the bolt sitting in the shop somewhere. ill keep an eye out for them and let you know. for the mounting brackets you could probably find a metal shop or a friend with an oxy-acetylene torch and try to straighten them out yourself. you may even be able to use one of those little propane torches. just put it in a vise or clamp and use pliers to re-form it while heating the bends.

My thought exactly. Slowly getting them straightened out. Just those bolts being a pain...
