It's not a question of where he (Santa) grips it! It's a simple question of weight ratios (353,530 tons)! A five ounce bird (214,200 reindeer) could not carry a one pound coconut.

Besides, I happen to like grilled reindeer!
 
Even Wal-Mart has distribution warehouses. You don't think Santa has figured out that having warehouses around the World would save him a lot of time? He likely has additional sleds preloaded, and has fresh teams of reindeer waiting for him to arrive (just as the Pony Express used). Santa has been doing this for Centuries, so he obviously has this down to a science. :cool:
 
Didn't anyone watch The Santa Claus? He uses modifies the space-time continuum to be able to make it to all the houses in one night. :D
 
Nelson--Yes, he has "warehouses", but in general, they're far smaller and more numerous than Walmart's. As a kid, I stumbled across such small warehouses a couple times--one was in our garage, and one was even right within our house!
