I saw this the other day, pretty scary stuff.



The UN wants to tax the usage of the web, are we going to have to pay 5 cents for every google search.... We already pay a good amount of taxes to the internet service provider.



The constitution does not allow a global organization to levy taxes on the US. But then again this adminstration doesn't seem to care about those constraints...

What the UN wants and what the UN gets are two different things.



The UN can only control countries that are members of the UN, and much of the UN is paid for by the USA. I think some countries will drop out of the UN if the UN is given that kind of authority, and I suspect that the US will be one who drops out since most of the existing members are anti-US anyway.

I agree, what the UN passes has to be agreed upon by congress first. We live in interesting times to say the least.

I hate to break the news to you all, but the UN wants to control the world not just the internet. Look for a continuos stream of similar things in the constant future. (my opinion which usually isn't worth much)

Ditto,,,,,,Richard........I pray we stay soveriegn.......but these are strange times....With strange thoughts coming from, some of those that are decades behind us.

Even most of the '60s and '70s hippies, have changed thier ideas of communal living.
