I've been trying to decide on an in-dash system for about seven months now. My biggest hangup was the color of the button illumination. I could not get myself to buy a unit with blue buttons to place in a green dash environment. A secondary hangup was that I am spoiled by Garmin's navigation engine and its accuracy. Only Kenwood uses it, and their units have blue buttons.
Finally--Kenwood produced a unit with changeable colors and the Garmin navigation engine--the 5120. It's due to be released in March. Oddly, their 7120 and 8120 do not have changeable colors (I'd love a full touchscreen unit, but the color kills it, as well as the plethora of features that I'll never use because I am keeping the stock system).
Now, just to count down the days. Yes, I did a cut-out test fit.
