I have the new ST with the 4.6 & the 6 speed trany. I find it searches for gears and has an anoying delay when you want to pass at WOT.

Anyone else finding this???

Very true the ETC tables are fully adjustable in the SCT software I use to build tunes.

I never really experienced this until yesterday. I had gotten into the wrong turn lane and had to move to the right pretty soon after making the turn. I eased it around the corner in my turn lane and was goign to shoot in front of the grandma to my right to make it into the turn lane for the shopping center. I pressed the throttle to the floor----and nothing happened....

Yes

Take it back to the dealer, explain the symptoms, and ask about <a href="http://www.zjstech.net/~library/20485/pdf/TSB%2006-13-01.pdf">TSB 06-13-01</a>.

A lot of us had this same problem and once the dealer did this "flash" to the PCM & TCM mine has ran like a champ. One member even sold his xcal2 after appying this because he said his ran better than the custom tunes he had (correct me if I mis-quote you ).

I have a copy of the TSB that I got from the dealer in my library if you need to print it out for them. Sometimes they will play dumb with you.

I see the TSB says May 5, 2006. Mine was built after that and it still does it.

If the guy building the tunes for the XCal is not skilled the end result won't be very good. You can't blame the device you blame the tuner for unsatisfactory tunes. With the advent of ETC a whole host of variables were introduced making it more complex since the complexity of the calibrations grew a lot.
