Well...



The curse of the Silver Birch hit again last night. Literally...:eek:



Dawn got rearended AGAIN...



Came to a stop leaving the grocery store parking lot and the woman behind her didn't.



Funny, brake lights work fine on the Trac... :angry:



So, now it's off to get estimates. Looking at another bumper cover, right bumper bracket, and maybe a step pad...



At least she didn't get the Bassani Xhaust or the Ford hitch (this time)...:rolleyes:

Sorry to hear it...put a receiver on your hitch, if that's not illegal in your area, and it will help slow the blow a little, in theory.
 
I'm tellin' ya - those Silver Birches are car (or maybe idiot) magnets.



Glad Dawn is OK. At least it's not as bad as the T-bone she got last year.

My estimate is $1250.80



Bumper Cover 441.38

Impact Bar 484.52

Impact bar Bracket 36.38

Impact bar arm 37.55

Hitch Plate 80.18



1.5 hours labor 76.80

Got my 3rd installed last week with 20k and 22 months on the trac

is there a damn target painted on the back:angry:

She has you beat but about 100 bucks on her highest of the three estimates she got. We're probably going to use the same shop that painted her last rear cover (we have painted lower trim). The most expensive estimate was from the Ford dealer and they did nothing but complain about trying to paint a textured surface (tells me they don't know what they're doing)...



The hit was in the right corner, so even the hitch wouldn't have helped this time!

My'04 is silver birch. I have noticed a alot of people sure stop short of my rear bumber.

A light bar may be a good mod..
