I went to see the progress after it was in the shop for 2 weeks and actually did not recognize the car. They had pulled off the bed, doors and door panels, hood and hood liner, bumpers, side steps and fenders. I found the grille, bed cap/rails/cleats, fender "scoops", fuel filler liner, mirror trim, door strikers and locks, head, tail and fog lights and other trim parts on a separate parts rack. It was impressive, they offered to pull the windshield but said there was a very high risk of cracking it so I declined. No rot found anywhere, but car has been in Florida its entire life. Soon after I got it back, I was pulled over for speeding and the officer said my car was registered as red. I said it was repainted and he said "show me". I spent a few minutes looking at the body to find red and failed. Finally opened the hood and found that the lazy bastards hadn't painted the firewall lol. I wanted a Ford color, having had a Zinc Yellow ST and a yellow 2004 F-150 Tuscany, but the Corvette color is brighter.
