VIK, do you mean the serpentine belt? I changed mine at about 42K (miles). Probably didn't need it but I'm glad I did because while doing it I found that the idler pully bearing was going south.

There is no need to replace the timing chain, IT is considered "lifetime" unless it breaks or makes noise..

Andy there was a TSB on that rattle and was discussed here many times... If your under warranty, have it replaced...
