I'm about to put on the 3in body lift, do torsion twist 1.5 to 2in, and warrior shackle, my question is what's the largest tire that i can fit on the truck with this set up. If there's already a post with info on this i couldn't find it.

Chad, who probably does the most offroading of any one on this site with his trac once said that 35's require major modification. the body lift alone wont cut. unless maybe you removed your front and rear bumpers

I thought i saw one on car domain with 35's a body lift, tt/sl, and fender trim, but can't seem to find it.(Not sure if anything else was done)

35's and just a body lift will leave you with damaged fenders if you go off road. I have 35's with a 3" body lift and a 5" suspension lift. This is just FYI though, and I will be selling my entire lift kit very soon.

As long as your new wheels have the correct offset, they may fit. You will also need new gears as well. You can run 4:10's but it is very hard on the tranny, and will cause premature failure.

Like i said 33's and i still needed to cut the inner fenders some. You could fit a 35 under there, but you better never hit a bump or turn a corner!!!!!!!!!!!:lol::lol:

blah on everyone above i did a 11 3/4" shackle in rear and cranked my torsion my truck rides great and straight and level i got around 2" out of tt and i get very very little rubbing only time is when i turning fast sharp and hitting bumps, and i have 285/75/r16 procomp xt/mts and have had 305 bfg ats on it before and i bet a buncha guys will say "i guess its all in what you do with the truck......." but thats retarded as well i beat the living shit out of my truck it always takes it liek a champ lol go ahead slap some 33's on a tt and shackle in my opnion. i can still brake stand them too so dont bother re gearding for 33's oh ya and i dont even have the 4.10 gearing to start with. i have axle wrapped to no tomorrow i have jumped the front tires. believe me or not thats what the real answer is....... Its a FORD and its a truck and its a Sport Trac wheel it and wheel it hard !

theres your positive side of it so you can listen to all these guys that should work at a ford dealership cuz they memorized the part numbers and factory ford hand book, or you can listen to me because i did exactly what you want to do! Enjoy your truck the way you want to!

Taylorjyoung,

I was talking about putting 35's on the ST not 33'/285's. But the wheel backspacing also determines the size of a tire that will fit. But thanks for your input, it was quite funny.
