Aloha Tod, I had the body mounts replaced last April. Now the ones at the C pillar are loose and rattling. I can get a socket on the bolt inside the cab, but how do I hold the plate underneath so I can tighten the bolt. BTW, I was always taught to tighten the nut, not the bolt. Do you think that the guy maybe put it together upside down?

Thanks for your help Ed

Aloha Ed,

thats how they go to gether. Make sure the rubber is under the bottom plate nut.

If its still there you need 2 people and large pair of channel locks. Some one has to hold the plate while you tighten it. Its a tight spot too !!!

Todd- IIRC, Ed used the Daystar kit. Don't you make a custom washer for the "C" mount locations? Higher torque?
