Todd do you mean using the bracket's flat side against the CB and using the side mounts on end of the arm rest? IF so....it might work. The bracket may be too wide, but I might could bend it in some. Then again I may just want to fashion a new bracket so I won't mess up the original.

Joe, I had thought about that, but i was talking using it as intended but lower on the radio as to hold it off the floor and use only 2 of the side mounting screws not all four..
