ToddZ - bed extender lock question

How does the bed extender lock install? I bought the part (middle rib piece) you suggested in a previous post.

The lock has 2 ends, one longer than the other. The long end points down with the extender folded in the bed...

It mounds as close to the pivot and locks as possible, but leave room to remove the extender if needed...



If that does not help I can email a pic later or tomorrow...

What tool do I use to open it up?

It is bolted together...... I beleive a torx bit is needed...

I will post pics tomorrow, Unless some one has them..
