Tonneau: 1st gen versus 2nd gen

Can someone tell me if there are different box sizes for fitting a tonneau? My Sport Trac is a 2005. I've seen that there were some wheelbase increases in later years, but I've found nothing to tell me if a 2007 factory tonneau will fit on a 2005.

as far as the hard cover my 04 it did not fit my 07, been a few tears since 07 when i bought my trac but my undercover did not work, it was the shape if i remember, a soft cover i do not know, if you were state side there is a ad on craigslist for a 05 are tonneau for sale in maryland for 150, i still have my hard cover from 04 and works great but my shell is way better.

Yes, I'm off to look at a folding type of tonneau from an '07. I'm hoping it fits on on '05. I only thought someone might know in advance if it doesn't work.

No. 2007-10 bed is slightly larger.
