He just took a hit, and you could tell he was in a lot of pain from that appendectomy a couple of weeks ago.

Edit: Of course I am talking about NFL's Pittsburg quarterback for those that didn't know.

Yea definately shouldnt be playing. I heard them say he had a 104 degree fever before the game. If you have a fever that high you shouldnt be playing anything. He is crazy. Who knows he might be infected from the appendectomy.

For what he's being paid, for what they're all being paid, unless he's on the verge of death, he better be playing.

I agree. He should have stayed out. They could have still lost with Batch in there, but Batch couldn't have done worse than Ben tonight. Still early in the season though and Jacksonville was the only team to beat BOTH teams that were in the Superbowl last year. Congrats Jacksonville fans. Your team did well tonight.;)

Im sorry, but even with Big Ben at 100% I still believe that Jacksonville is a better team. Parker only got like 20 yards on 11 carries. Pittsburgh's defence was giving up yards left and right, they are just lucky that the Jags had a tough time getting it in the endzone, the score should have been more to the tune of 21-0. And at least they showed the respect of putting down the knee on te 1 yard line to end the game. The Steelers are one of the most overrated teams in the league, don't get me wrong, they are good, just not super bowl good.

Big D I agree,,, i like Pittsburgh but they really in my opinion were not that good. Still they won the big game and what the hell.... I like Cower also, not sure why maybe it's the giant Jaw make him seem tough, and I love coaches who run the ball not matter what...

Anybody else enjoy the fact that Kornheiser is giving Theisman a really hard time in the broadcast booth?

Theisman: "Ben Roethlisburger is back!"

(two minutes later)

Theisman: "Roehtlisburger has missed a number of throws tonight. He's not as accurate as we're used to seeing. It seems like he's trying to muscle the ball out there."

Kornheiser: "Two plays ago you said he was back!"
