Torque settings for bolts on wheels

Hey everyone:



I just bought a torque wrench for when i put on my rims in the summer. however i can't find the torque settings for the wheel bolts in the book any where. it would be greatly appreciated if you could tell me.

I assume you're using stock wheels.



"Standard" is 75-ish for cars, 85-ish for trucks. Don't have to be terribly accurate, as the lug nuts on the ST simply hold the wheel on. A better reason to have them torqued properly is so if there is ever a road-side emergency, you can actually get the nuts back off. Don't forget the anti-seize.
 
I've always used my own torque (personal strength) using a 4 way. Been using this method for 17 years and never had a wheel come off or any problems. This also ensures that I'll also be able to get it off;).
 
Wheel lug torque should be 100 foot pounds. 90 to 100 should be fine. The main intent is to get them all at the same torque setting to prevent warping of the rotors.
 
100 is spec. I use 1.21 jigawatts, no wait, that's the alternator.
