RIDE programs are, more or less, road blocks set up by the London Police Force to ensure that all drivers on the road are sober.
I interpreted your quotation marks around the word "safe" exactly as you described (officer's terms for your driving.) Hence, why my comment to TJR in a previous posts I misused the word "normally" while describing your driving.
Truth be told "normal" is a terrible word anyway - who determines what is "normal" and what isn't (in any context)? Thats a whole ball of wax that I don't even care to get into :wacko:
