update; transmission was slipping earlier today. changed fluid &filter. test drove ,no change

just for the fun of it i put in a bottle of lucas trans fix. test drive time....

IT WORKS.NO SLIPPAGE,WHAT IN THE WORLD IS GOING ON HERE? WILL SEE HOW LONG IT LASTS...:D

Is this your original tranny? And how do you drive, trailer towing, hard, etc...

And how many miles? I ask all this because I'm kinda paranoid abot the 'trac

transmissions, myself, although no problems at 23,000 miles on my '05.

Take care of your tranny and it will take care of you. Got 76k on mine, and I drive it like I stole it. Been running a tune/chip/flasher since 28k. Still solid as a rock.

I do believe in proper maintenaince! Got an '89 S-15 Jimmy, 4.3 Auto, with

224,000 on the clock. Bought new, well serviced, original eng@trans, and I'd

trust it to California and back from Tennessee!

original tranny,ford replaced the valve bodyat 65700 miles.i now have 91500. my driving style goes from granny to granatelli. i figured i had nothing to lose. i'l drive more today and post later...:D
 
Did you up the EPC pressure while you where in there ???

yes i did the epc adj. did about a 1/4 turn . i just got back from test drive #2,no slippage!

WOW!!!! i guess the lucas trans fix worked! updates to follow..... THANKS FOR ALL THE HELP!
