Transmission Fluid . . What's recommended?

It's time for a transmission fluid flush on my 05' XLT. I'm at 52,000 miles now, but put a lot of miles on my truck yearly and do a lot of city driving. Is there a better grade fluid I can use to prolong the life of my transmission? What do you guys recommend?

use what the owner's manual says... Mercon V full synthetic.. Can't get any better..:supercool:

Use the Ford reccomened Mercon V. No leaks, rus cooler and is easily availleable. Just for a litlle peace of mind, change the filter and do a complete fluid flush, about 16 quarts, and it'll run better than new. Bob
