Transmission Labor

Can anyone tell me the labor hours or cost to replace a transmission in a 2001 ST. It would be only for remove and replace with another transmission ??

It cost me $2785.00 at my shop to rebuild mine. Yours will be close to that I'm sure.

I dont think he needs it to rebuilt... he just needs pull and replace costs... If you were in edmonton alberta it woudl cost a case of beer or a 40 of rye. (my buddies a former tranny mechanic)

Pull and replace for a 4x4 with a manual was 5.2 hours at a local shop for me, and that included installing a new slave cylinder. That was their book time, I think it actually took em a little less. I would guess that it would be close to the same for an automatic, not sure how much, if any, difference the slave cylinder would make
