It is time to service my ST Tranny. I've heard horrror stories regarding FULL fluid changes.



Can someone tell me the type/name of the system needed to do a full fluid change including torque converter WITHOUT using outside presure. I need the system that utilizes the trucks own pump to exchange the fluid.



PS I checked with my local FORD dealer and they only offer pan drop partial changes or the FORCE fluid type changes and charge $125.00

Po-man, I'm not ready for a tranny fluid change, but I intend to drop the pan, chnahe the filter and add a drain plug. I most likely will get an aluminum deep pan and carry an extra 2 qts of fluid. Thereafter I intendend to drain the fluid from the plug every 15K miles or so and refill with fresh ATF.
