Transmission trouble

Ok need some help!! Tranny will slip only when I am from a dead stop and start going. It's only happened maybe 3 times in about 2 weeks time. It has about 92,000 miles on it and it's an 01 job 2 S/T. Also I cleaned the throttle body, IAC and Mass Air Flow Sensor and now I sometimes at a stop S/T idles low and I get a hum in the intake tube( Mac Intake). It has cut off on me when it gets really low. Any ideas on what this could be? Thanks for any info you can give me.........Chris

Hows your fuel filter???

You can turn up the idle screw slightly, but only 1/4-1/2 turn....



The IAC motor may be bad.



The take off slip could also be the clutches in the rearend if it is a limited slip, Check your rear diff fluid and level.



I would disconnect the battery for 1/2 hour or over night and see if the computer learns and re adjusts stuff...
