Turn Signal Problem

I have a problem with my Right turn Signal Ligth. I have been reding otner poists and find a similar problem with the Letf Turn signal and the Wiring Harness in the steering Column. does anyone have had this problem on the right signal too?



Is there any FIX that I can follow?

All of the wires are in the same location (plugged into the hazard flasher switch) so it is possible that that is the problem. Take it apart and take a look at it to be sure. Would be the same fix procedure.

Both the right and left can be affected by the column wire harness issue.



Tilt the column, if it works, your issue is the harness in the column...

I'm having the turn signal problem (left) with my Ranger. Bulb is fine, I replaced it just in case. I tried moving the column and opened it up and see nothing amiss.



If I turn on the emergency flashers, both fronts work and the right rear works, but not the left. Here's the kicker.......If I have the flashers on AND turn on the left signal, it works !



I'm stumped and hate to think I have to take it to the dealer.



Does anyone know of a Ranger site with such insight and knowlege as this?
