Congrats Paul!!![Broken External Image]:

I hit 100,000 with an old customized van I owned years ago. When I hit it, I was on the freeway and got out and spray painted the date on the retaining wall beside the highway. Never thought of myself as someone doing graffiti but I couldn't resist.

I remember the first time I turned 100000, I was 16 driving my dads truck, which became mine a fe years later. I ended up with 196k on that one, never broke 100000 again.

Congrats! I turned 100,000 on my '01 Sport Trac in 2003. I'm at 150,000 now. I agree, mine runs as sweetly as it ever did. Power and guts when I need them, handling always and a damn fine ride on the highway. I live in the mountains of Colorado. The bottom of mine has see some rocks and the sides some tree branches, the front license plate won its freedom in a snowbank, the running boards often double as skid plates, the sediment layers on the dash start with white dust from Colorado and alternate red from Moab, black from other Colorado outings and brown from my home trails. I drive it hard and burn through tires on the winding moutain roads. I expect a lot from vehicles. This one has an iron heart that purrs or growls while of the rest of the truck rocks.

I replaced the windshield at 145K. The original was totally pitted and cracked in 4 places. the back bumper has tested several vertical structures, and lost. The addition of XM radio makes the ride even better.

I have an old Jeep I use for the rough stuff. :)
